WOESA Partnership

Click on the articles below to find out more about different organisations which WOESA has partnered with for the benefit of our members

WOESA, DoE Workshops for WOESA Members.

The Department of Energy and WOESA partnership WOESA was established in 2002 with the backing of the Department of Energy. The mandate of WOESA when it was established then, which still remains relevant today, was to facilitate and promote business opportunities for enhancing the participation of South African women in the oil and energy sector. The partnership between the Department and WOESA has since evolved resulting in the recently signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Parties. This MOU thus seeks to build on previously signed MOUs and to strengthen the relationship between the Parties. It articulates the Department’s support in identified areas in order to assist WOESA to achieve its transformation mandate. Similarly WOESA pledges its support to the Department towards achieving its policy objectives. The MOU thus sets a platform for a collaborative effort and acknowledges the symbiotic relationship in enhancing each other’s work.
